My first set of golf clubs was the off-the-rack box package purchased from Target. I spent a lot of time at the driving range trying to get the ball airborne. I spent hundreds of dollars getting instructional videos and golf aids and just could not score under 140. Balls were flying to the right and left as if I was aiming left and right and constant ridicule of how bad my game was from other folks on the driving range. After years of "wasting my time" on the golf courses and nearly giving up the game, I decided to start researching into clubfitting. I quickly found out that my clubs were just way too long for my size. Each club was nearly two (2) inches too long for me. And then begins my career in clubfitting...

Being an engineer (Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering and Master of Engineering in Systems from the University of Arizona), I naturally started tinkering with my golf clubs. I began learning how to rip off grips and trimming the butt ends of the golf club to proper length, I immediately saw improvements in my game. Now I nearly have a full set of tools, analyzers, and gauges to build golf clubs from scratch to meet certain specifications. Some of the tools used to build clubs to spec are frequency analyzers, loft/lie bending machines, loft/lie gauges, shaft spine spinning, swing speed and tempo measurer, and shaft extractors.

I am a member of the Professional Clubmakers Society (PCS) and the Golf Clubmakers Association (GCA). I am in the process of becoming a Certified Clubmaker with both the PCS and GCA. This certification process includes taking a comprehensive clubmaking and clubfitting exam, training, and practical exam which entails building a series of clubs to exact specs and fitting pre-determined individuals. I believe that being certified as a clubmaker will instill confidence and trust in my abilities to help you excel as a golfer with properly fitted clubs.

I have obtained the rights to build clubs using True Length Technology^TM.  Because the principals of True Length Technology^TM is founded by only using one athletic golfing position, I believe that this technology will revolutionize the game of golf.  There are so many variables in the game of golf and with True Length Technology^TM, we can eliminate one major variable in the way a golfer swings the golf club.
